Short half-day tour up to Michelberg with its great view starting at the Lange Wiese.
The tour starts at the parking Goldenes Bründl (GPS: 48.413221, 16.315676) and follows the forest road along the Lange Wiese towards Michelberg (see signposts). At the end of the Lange Wiese, the tour then turns left and continues following the marked hiking trail up to Michelberg. The tour bypasses first the restaurant and leads up to the top towards the little church. After enjoying the amazing view from the top, the tour descends back to the restaurant for a well-deserved break. The tour then follows the gravel road westwards and then southwards towards Knieberg. At a crossing, the tour leaves the marked trail and turns left, descending directly through the forest following a small unmarked path. This path leads back to the Lange Wiese and further to the parking.

| 00:40 | Enjoy the view from the top of Michelberg. Then head back to the restaurant. |
| 00:45 | Well-deserved break () at the Restaurant Michelberg. |
| 01:45 | Follow the gravel road westwards for a few meters and then turn left. |
| 01:50 | At the crossing before the forest, turn left and follow the gravel road alongside the forest. Keep straight at the next crossing. |
| 01:55 | At the crossing, keep right and continue following the forest road. |
| 02:00 | At the Knieberg, continue following the forest road southeastwards. |
| 02:10 | At the crossing, leave the marked trail and turn left and follow the forest road downwards. |
| 02:15 | Keep straight, leave the forest road and follow now the trail down to Lange Wiese. |
| 02:20 | Cross the Lange Wiese (mind the small river!) back to the gravel road. Turn right and follwo the gravel road back to the parking. |
| 02:30 | Back at the parking, end of the tour. |
